She Stands at the Ready

Nine angels have been hand-crafted since Kateri found her way into our hearts.
Angelica was the second to make her appearance; and just like Kateri, Angelica is styled uniquely different from all the rest.  Her hair is constructed from yarn with a long braid that winds around itself then nestles against the nape of her neck.  Her eyes are blue and she appears older than the rest of the angels.  Like Kateri, "Adrienne's Angels" is embroidered in gold floss on her left leg and beneath her dress is a red heart.  Her dress and slip boast lace embellished with hearts.  Atop her head, is a halo constructed of gold beads and her wings are finished off in scallops of crochet thread.  Tiny slippers cover her feet and to make her more secure on her hand-crafted stand, her feet have been placed in a clear, plastic box.   She also comes with a small, white book, topped with a hand crocehted rose that describes the nine choirs of angels.  Included with the angel is a scroll tied with a satin bow that describes her make-up and age suitablilty.  Angelica, bears a secret, comes with blessings, and would be a welcome additon to anyone who appreaciates heirloom-quality possessions.
